| dc.description.abstract | Bakalářská práce se zaměří na reprezentaci zbudovského sedláka Jakuba Kubaty v kultuře
19. a první poloviny 20. století. Tato osobnost, jejíž skutečné životní peripetie nejsou
doposud přesně doloženy, se stala známou literární figurou několika románů, povídek
i dramat. Tyto literární doklady budou v práci za využití dostupných databází (Caslin,
Retrobi, ČEK) komplexně soustředěny a podrobně analyzovány. Hlavní pozornost práce
bude věnována mytologizaci Kubaty jako národního typu a ideálu selského stavu.
Reflektována bude rovněž dobová polemika o významu Kubaty, která se objevila v dobovém
tisku v souvislosti se stavbou jeho pomníku na zbudovských Blatech r. 1904 | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The bachelor's thesis will focus on the representation of Jakub Kubata ? a peasant from
Zbudov ? in the culture of 19th and the first half of 20th century. This personality, whose
real life peripeteia have not yet been precisely documented, became a well-known literary
figure in several novels, short stories and dramas. These literary documents will be
comprehensively gathered and analyzed in detail in the thesis using the available databases
(Caslin, Retrobi, ČEK). The main focus of the thesis will be the mythologising of Kubata as
a national type and of the peasant ideal. The contemporary argument about the importance
of Kubata, which appeared in the contemporary press in the context of the construction of
