| dc.description.abstract | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá negací vyjádřenou předponami v současné angličtině. Práce nejdříve objasní pojem negace, její filozofické kořeny, jak je vnímána v jazykovědě a zaměří se na její vyjádření pomocí afixů. Dále budou uvedeny a objasněny jednotlivé typy negace, které mohou jednotlivé předpony vyjádřit. Jádrem práce pak bude charakteristika jednotlivých prefixů z morfologického a sémantického hlediska. K tomuto účelu bude práce čerpat jednak ze sekundární literatury a jednak z dat získaných z lingvistického korpusu. Cílem práce je pak určit, jak jsou jednotlivé předpony produktivní a v jakém lingvistickém prostředí se vyskytují. | cze |

The thesis will initially explain the term 'negation', its roots in philosophy, how it is understood in linguistics, and will focus on the way it is expressed through prefixes. Further, the types of negation that individual prefixes may express will be described. The core of the thesis will be the characteristics of the individual prefixes from a morphological and semantic point of view. For these purposes, the thesis will use secondary literature, along with data extracted from a linguistic corpus. The goal of the thesis is to determine how productive each prefix is and in what linguistic environment they appear. | eng |
