| dc.description.abstract | Cílem práce je zmapovat primární i sekundární recepci díla Josefa Merhauta. V prvém kroku se autorka soustředí na všechny dobové kritiky jednotlivých Merhautových prozaických prací. Bibliografickým východiskem jí bude příslušné heslo Lexikonu české literatury. Dále prozkoumá speciální sekundární literaturu o Merhautovi a v posled i základní úhrnné práce věnované literatuře druhé poloviny 19. a počátku 20. století. Výsledkem budou zjištění o hlediscích a kritériích hodnocení Merhautovy beletrie, o jejich proměnách v čase a také o změnách v celkovém obrazu autora a jeho díla. Speciální pozornost bude věnována otázce poměru Merhautovy tvorby k naturalismu. Pokud to zpracování dovolí, mohla by se autorka dále analyticky a interpretačně věnovat tomu z Merhautových děl, které je vnímáno jako nejvíce naturalistické. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The aim of the thesis is to map the primary and secondary reception of Josef Merhaut's work. In the first step, the author focuses on all contemporary criticism of Merhaut's individual prose works. She will use the relevant entry in the Lexicon of Czech Literature as a bibliographical starting point. Next, she will examine the special secondary literature on Merhaut and, lastly, the basic summary works devoted to the literature of the second half of the 19th and early 20th centuries. As a result, findings will be made about the aspects and criteria for evaluating Merhaut's fiction, their changes over time, and also about changes in the overall image of the author and his work. Special attention will be paid to the question of the relation of Merhaut's work to naturalism. If processing permits, the author might further analytically and interpretively address that of Merhaut's works which is perceived as the most naturalistic. | eng |
