| dc.description.abstract | Bakalářská práce se zabývá postupnou proměnou Evropských společenství na Evropskou unii od osmdesátých let, která byla vytvořena na základě podpisu oficiálního dokumentu (Maastrichtské smlouvy) v nizozemském Maastrichtu v roce 1992. Tato smlouva zásadním způsobem přispěla k prohloubení evropské integrace, a znamenala také významnou událost pro státy někdejšího východního bloku, mezi ně patřila Československá republika. Text se zabývá rovněž vztahy mezi tehdejším Československem a Evropským společenstvím. Společensko-politické změny zahájené v listopadu 1989 znamenaly kromě jiného snahu o "návrat do Evropy". Tímto heslem byla vyjadřována určitá snaha zařadit se zpátky do geopolitického prostoru integrované Evropy. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The bachelor thesis deals with the gradual transformation of the European Communities into the European Union since the 1980s, which was created on the basis of the signing of the official document (the Maastricht Treaty) in Maastricht, the Netherlands, in 1992. This treaty made a major contribution to the deepening of European integration and was also a significant event for the former Eastern bloc states, including the Czechoslovak Republic. The text also deals with the relations between the former Czechoslovakia and the European Community. The socio-political changes initiated in November 1989 meant, among other things, an attempt to 'return to Europe'. This slogan was used to express a certain effort to reintegrate back into the geopolitical space of an integrated Europe. | eng |
