dc.description.abstract	Předmětem zkoumání bakalářské práce je literární prostor kouzelné zahrady v díle britské autorky Frances Hodgson Burnettové Tajemná zahrada. Práce v úvodu zmíní kontext moderní britské literatury určené dětským čtenářům a dále se zaměří na důležitost a oblibu prostoru zahrady v dětské literatuře viktoriánského a edwardiánského období, přičemž stanoví podstatné a nosné motivy, které spojuje téma literárního prostoru zahrady v literatuře počátku 20. století. V rámci zkoumání tradice britského románu definuje gotické motivy spojené s prostorem domu jako protikladu k magickému prostoru zahrady. Součástí práce bude analýza psychologického rozvoje hlavních postav a jejich dospívání v izolovaném prostoru anglického venkovského sídla.	cze

dc.description.abstract-translated	The subject of this bachelor thesis is the literary space of the enchanted garden in the novel The Secret Garden by the British author Frances Hodgson Burnett. The thesis will mention the context of modern British literature aimed at children's readers, and then focus on the importance and popularity of the space of the garden in children's literature of the Victorian and Edwardian periods, establishing the essential and supporting motifs that are connected to the theme of the literary space of the garden in early twentieth-century literature. Exploring the tradition of the British novel, this thesis will define the gothic motifs associated with the space of the house as opposed to the magical space of the garden. The thesis will include an analysis of the psychological development of the main characters and their coming of age in the isolated space of an English country mansion.	eng
