| dc.description.abstract | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá možnostmi využívání mezinárodní online komunikace v hodinách angličtiny na 2. stupni základních škol. Informační a komunikační technologie mají v tomto případě posloužit ke zvýšení efektivity výuky a také ke zvýšení vnitřní motivace ke studiu anglického jazyka, a to poskytnutím autentického prostoru pro komunikaci se zahraničními žáky podobného věku. Výraznou roli v takové komunikaci hrají průřezová témata a mezipředmětové vztahy s důrazem na zeměpis.
V rámci teoretické části práce jsou prozkoumána teoretická východiska mezinárodní online komunikace, za účelem zvýšení potenciálu jejího využití ve výuce. Diskutovány jsou proto klíčové kompetence zejména digitální a komunikativní. Dále také pedagogické a psychologické aspekty tématu. Praktická část se již zaměřuje na konkrétní využití v praxi, přičemž prvním cílem je aktivitu připravit, vyzkoušet a reflektovat. Druhým ověřit, zda mají aktivity opravdu takový efekt, jaký byl zamýšlen - obzvláště rozvoj kompetencí a zvýšení motivace. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | This diploma thesis explores the possibilities of using international online communication in English lessons at the lower secondary level of elementary schools. In this case, information and communication technologies are intended to enhance the effectiveness of teaching and increase the intrinsic motivation to study the English language by providing an authentic space for communication with foreign pupils of similar age. Cross-curricular themes and interdisciplinary relationships with an emphasis on Geography play a significant role in such communication.
The theoretical foundations of the international online communication are studied in the theoretical part of the thesis in order to enhance its potential in education. Key competencies, particularly digital and communicative skills, are discussed. Additionally, pedagogical and psychological aspects of the topic are explored. The practical part focuses on the specific implementation in practice, with the first objective being to prepare, test, and reflect on the activities.
