| dc.description.abstract-translated | The breeding habitat of the Eurasian Pygmy owl (Glaucidium passerinum) is mainly
coniferous forest. For this reason, we chose an area in Třeboň basin for data collection in this
study, which mainly composed by coniferous forests. In this area, I mapped trees with nesting
holes within territories occupied by Pygmy Owl and territories for comparison, where Pygmy
Owl was absent. I compared the main characteristics of nesting holes and trees with nesting
holes between occupied and unoccupied territories. | eng |
