| dc.description.abstract | Tato kvalifikační práce pojednává o chovu hadů z čeledí Boidae a Pythonidae v zoologických zahradách po celém světě a zaměřuje se na autorem provedenou analýzu úspěšnosti jejich chovu a odchovu. Dále je v práci uveden stručný popis hadů jakožto celé skupiny, úloha hadů na planetě, jejich evoluční vývoj, ochrana hadů a popis čeledí Boidae a Pythonidae. V rámci komplexnosti řešené problematiky jsou v práci uvedeny informace o historii zoologických zahrad, o historii chovu hadů v zoologických zahradách a základní zásady pro úspěšný chov hadů. V neposlední řadě jsou v práci podrobněji vysvětleny pojmy, jako je Úmluva o mezinárodním obchodu s ohroženými druhy volně žijících živočichů a planě rostoucích rostlin (CITES) a Mezinárodní svaz ochrany přírody (IUCN). Za pomoci vytvořených grafů s komentáři jsou v práci prezentovaná získaná a zpracovaná data. | cze |

The thesis also gives a brief description of snakes as a whole group, the role of snakes on the planet, their evolutionary development, the protection of snakes and a description of the families Boidae and Pythonidae. Within the complexity of the problem, the thesis provides information on the history of zoos, the history of snake breeding in zoos and basic principles for the successful breeding of snakes.
