| dc.description.abstract | Tato práce byla zaměřena na problematiku parazita ze třídy tasemnice rodu Echinococcus. Byla popsána jeho taxonomie, historie, vývojový cyklus, druhy echinokoků,
hostitelská specifita, patogenita a klinické příznaky, diagnostika, výskyt v Evropě a
v neposlední řadě nákazy člověka.
Praktická část byla zaměřena na detekci dospělců Echinococcus multilocularis
v tenkém střevě lišky obecné (Vulpes vulpes) a zjištění celkové prevalence výskytu.
Vzorky byly vyšetřovány mikroskopicky během let 2019 - 2021 na Státním veterinárním ústavu v Jihlavě v rámci monitoringu alveokokózy hrazeném Státní veterinární
správou ČR.
Tato práce prokázala výskyt E. multilocularis na území ČR s poměrně vysokou
prevalencí. Z celkového počtu 867 vzorků odebraných z gastrointestinálního traktu lišek během tříletého vyšetřování ve vybraných okresech bylo detekováno 309 pozitivních kusů, což představuje prevalenci 35,6 %. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | This thesis was focused on the parasite of the class of tapeworms of the genus
Echinococcus. Taxonomy, history, life cycle, Echinococcus species, host specificity,
patogenity and clinical symptoms as well as diagnostics and occurence in Europe, and
last but not least, human infections were described.
The practical part was focused on the detection of adult Echinococcus multilocularis in the small intestine of red foxes (Vulpes vulpes) and determining the overall prevalence of occurence. All samples were examined microscopically during 2019 - 2021
at the State Veterinary Institute in Jihlava as a part of a project monitoring alveococcosis disease funded by the State Veterinary Administration of the Czech Republic.
This thesis demonstrated the occurence of E. multilocularis in the Czech Republic
with a relatively high prevalence. Out of the total number of 867 samples taken from
the gastrointestinal tract of foxes during a three-year investigation in selected districts,
309 positive specimens were detected, representing a prevalence of 35.6 %. | eng |
