| dc.description.abstract | Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na studium početnosti a biotopových nároků holuba hřivnáče (Columba palumbus) v různých prostředích. Analyzuje se adaptace holuba hřivnáče (Columba palumbus) na městské prostředí a jeho ekologie v urbanizovaných oblastech. Výsledky ukazují, že nejvíce holubů bylo nalezeno v parkové zóně, kde bylo také nejvíce hnízd. V městském prostředí bylo zjištěno menší množství holubů a hnízd v porovnání s parkovou zónou, zatímco v zemědělském biotopu bylo nejméně holubů a hnízd. Průměrný počet holubů na hektar a počet hnízd na hektar byl také vypočítán pro každý biotop a ukázal rozdíly v hustotě populace mezi nimi. Práce se také zaměřuje na faktory ovlivňující výskyt a početnost holuba hřivnáče v městském prostředí, jako je dostupnost potravy, hnízdní místa a vhodné klimatické podmínky. Cílem práce je získat podrobnější informace o adaptaci holuba hřivnáče (Columba palumbus) na městské prostředí a jeho ekologii, což může přispět k lepšímu pochopení vztahů mezi městským prostředím a životními podmínkami ptáků. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The bachelor thesis focuses on the study of the abundance and habitat requirements of the wood pigeon (Columba palumbus) in different environments. It analyses the adaptation of the wood pigeon (Columba palumbus) to urban environments and its ecology in urbanized areas. The results show that most pigeons were found in the park zone, where most nests were also found. Fewer pigeons and nests were found in the urban environment compared to the park zone, while the agricultural habitat had the fewest pigeons and nests. The average number of pigeons per hectare and the number of nests per hectare were also calculated for each habitat and showed differences in population density between them. The work also focuses on factors affecting the occurrence and abundance of the wood pigeon (Columba palumbus) in urban environments, such as food availability, nesting sites and suitable climatic conditions.
