Závěrem pak provádím srovnání životních podmínek v těchto třech druzích táborů a zjišťuji, kdo z lidí v nich žijící měl větší šanci přežít a kdo naopak neměl téměř žádnou reálnou možnost si uchránit svůj život. | cze |

dc.description.abstract-translated | The aim of the Work you are holding in your hands is to show the readers the everyday life in Concentration camps, cages and forced labour camps by means of several testimonies of direct participants. I want to show that the life in none of these ,,facilities'' was easy, and mostly depended on abilities of individuals to survive in often primitive conditions. In the first
chapter we will have a look behind the barbed wires of concentration camps, at outrageous suffering of dying prisoners and on contrary at the comfortable and easy lives of the jailers. The second chapter deals with the lives of displaced people forced to work in the camps of the Third, or also the Greater German Reich and in the Protectorate, with their everyday work, fear of air raids, fear of death and with their happy return back home. The last chapter than
shows a special category of camps, the cages. Here we can see how Nazis behaved to their captives and we will see that the Second World War also belonged to unusual ones from this viewpoint. At the end I compare the life conditions in these three types of camps and try to discover, who of the people staying in them had bigger chance to survive and who had nearly no opportunity to save their lives. | eng |
