| dc.description.abstract | Předmětem této práce je představení Guy de Maupassanta, francouzského autora druhé poloviny 19. století, jako dramatika. Hlavním cílem je přiblížit tendence k dramatické tvorbě jinak prozaického autora a sedm jeho dokončených her, které jsou často opomíjeny v kontextu jeho známější tvorby. Tato práce se zabývá celkovým představením povahy a postavení her v díle autora. Prostřednictvím uvedení do dobové historicko-společenské atmosféry, literárních a divadelních tendencí v druhé polovině 19. století a analýzami samotných her, se práce snaží tuto autorovu tendenci vysvětlit a předložit návrh, jak ji vnímat. Nedílnou součást tvoří vybrané úryvky textů her. Poslední část práce přináší pohled na společné rysy her a zamýšlí se nad záměrem a podměty jejich vzniku, autorovým přístupem a uchopením žánru a příčinou jejich obecné neznámosti. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | This thesis focuses on presenting Guy de Maupassant, a French writer of the second half of the 19th century, as a playwriter. The main objective of the thesis is to disclose the dramatic tendencies of the writer, who is primarily known for his prose, and to present all the seven completed dramatic pieces which are often neglected in favour of his more famous work. The thesis aims to showcase the nature and the position of the plays in the context of Guy de Maupassant´s whole work and their overall perception. It attempts to explain the author´s specific approach through describing the social and historical atmosphere, literary and theatre movements in the second half of the 19th century and through analysis of the plays themselves. Based on these the thesis offers a way how to fully perceive de Maupassant´s plays. Of significant importance are the selected quotations of textes of the plays. Finally the thesis presents the common signs of the plays and tries to discover the initial intention of their creation, the author´s approach to the genre and the reason why they last unknown in general. | eng |
