| dc.description.abstract | Bakalářská práce se věnuje argentinsko-britskému soupeření o Falklandské (Malvínské) ostrovy. Skládá se z pěti kapitol, z nichž první se věnuje ostrovům z hlediska geografického, demografického a ekonomického. Druhá kapitola přináší informace o objevení ostrovů a jejich osídlení až do roku 1982. Ozbrojenému střetu, který se odehrál v roce 1982, je věnována celá třetí kapitola. Předposlední část bakalářské práce se zabývá situací po válce a vývojem britsko-argentinských vztahů. Bakalářskou práci uzavírá pátá kapitola, která se soustředí na názory běžného obyvatelstva Argentiny a Falkland a také na názory sousedních zemí. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | This bachelor thesis deals with the Argentine-British dispute over the Falkland Islands. It is divided into five chapters. The first chapter gives the reader information with respect to geography, demography and the economy of the islands. The second chapter pays attention to the discovery of the islands and its settlement until 1982. The third chapter is dedicated to the armed conflict which took place in 1982. The penultimate chapter of the thesis discusses the situation after the war and the evolution of the Argentine-British relationship since then.
