| dc.description.abstract | Cílem této bakalářské práce je analýza a komparace dvou vybraných děl anglické spisovatelky Jane Austenové - Pýcha a předsudek a Rozum a cit. Práce nejprve představí stručnou charakteristiku autorky a jejího díla a dále přiblíží oba zmíněné romány. Poté se krátce zaměří na historické pozadí v rámci období anglické romantické literatury a dobovou sociální situaci a také zmíní roli žen v 18. a 19. století. S těmito aspekty bude pracovat jako s podstatnými vlivy na tvorbu autorky a také na podobu jejích hrdinek. V hlavní části se bude práce zabývat samotnou komparací a analýzou ústředních ženských postav a jejich proměnami v průběhu děje. Na závěr shrne etické motivy, které se objevují v obou románech a reflektují jak dobové problémy, tak autorčin postoj k nim, vyjádřen v jejím díle. Práce bude psána česky. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze and compare two novels written by Jane Austen - Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility. The first part of the thesis shortly characterizes and presents the author, her work and both of the novels. The following part concentrates on the historical and social background of the early Romantic period and it also mentions the position of women in that era. These aspects are then related to the main body of the text focusing on the comparison and analysis of the major heroines of the two novels.
