| dc.description.abstract | Ve své diplomové práci jsem se zabývala na základě excerpce současných autentických textů zkoumáním výskytu dvou anglických konstrukcí (tzv. cleft sentence a pseudo-cleft sentence) umožňujících příznakově zdůraznit určitý větný člen. Přitom jsem si všímala, jak frekventované jsou tyto konstrukce v různých žánrech (beletrie, publicistika, odborný text), na jakých faktorech závisí volba jedné či druhé konstrukce v daném kontextu a nakonec kontextové zapojenosti vytčených prvků a prvků vedlejší věty. Dále jsem si povšimla, jaké větné členy jsou nejčastěji vytýkány a jaká omezení pro užití obou konstrukcí platí. Kromě toho jsem se pokusila stanovit, jak tyto dvě konstrukce zapadají do celkového systému anglických prostředků rematizace, a pokusila jsem se stanovit jejich adekvátní ekvivalenty, které by byly užity při případném překladu do češtiny. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | In my diploma work I searched for the occurrence of two English constructions (cleft sentence and pseudo-cleft sentence) which make it possible to emphasize and point out a particular sentence element on the base of the excerption of the present authentic English texts. At the same time I noticed how frequent these two constructions are in different literary genres (fiction, journalism, technical text), which factors the using of cleft sentences or pseudo-cleft sentences depends on in a given context and the contextual dependence of the sentence elements and the elements of the subordinate clause. In addition, I noticed which sentence elements are emphasized the most frequently and which limitations refer to using of both constructions. Besides, I tried to define how these two constructions fit in the whole system of English language of rhematization. Finally I tried to define the appropriate equivalents of the cleft and pseudo-cleft sentences from the point of view of the Czech translators. | eng |
