| dc.description.abstract | Bakalářská práce se zabývá seniory, konkrétně procesem adaptace v domově pro seniory. V první části práce jsou uvedeny základní pojmy, které se týkají této problematiky a uvádějí nás do situace. Je zde popsán proces stárnutí a změny, kterými člověk prochází. A to jak z hlediska fyzického, psychického, tak i duchovního, i co se týká změn hodnot seniorů.
V druhé části práce přibližuji sociální služby v České republice, které jsou poskytovány seniorům. Jejich rozdělení, jakou mají formu a kdo může v současnosti sociální služby poskytovat. Podrobněji je popsán domov pro seniory v Trutnově, kde byl prováděn výzkum.
Důležitý je zde pojem adaptace a proces adaptace. Jak senioři zvládají změnu v životě, a jaké faktory jim pomáhají se s danou situací vypořádat.
V poslední části práce je kvalitativní výzkum uskutečněný formou rozhovoru, kdy dotazovaní jsou klienty výše uvedeného domova pro seniory v Trutnově. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The thesis deals with the elderly, specifically, with the process of adaptation in a home for the elderly. In the first part of the thesis there are presented the basic concepts concerning this issue and report us to the situation. The process of aging and the changes that a person goes through are described here. Both in terms of physical, mental, and spiritual, as well as what relates to changes in the values of the elderly.
In the second part of the work I take a closer look at social services in the Czech Republic, which are provided to seniors. Their distribution, which form they take, and who can currently provide social services. The home for the elderly in Trutnov, where the research was conducted, is described in more detail.
The concept of adaptation and the process of adaptation are important here. How to manage change in the life of the elderly and what factors help them deal with the situation.
In the last part of the thesis there is the qualitative research carried out in the form of an interview, when the interviewed are the clients of the home for the elderly in Trutnov, which was mentioned above. | eng |
