| dc.description.abstract | Práce se věnuje záporné postavě Hamana v příběhu knihy Ester, Hamanovým činům, důsledkům a recepci v dalších obdobích.
Cílem je vystihnout Hamana na základě masoretského textu, srovnat odlišnosti s dalšími texty (LXX, targum, ) a zaměřit se na vliv, který měl v dějinách židovského národa. Na závěr je snaha postihnout recepci v nedávné minulosti a současnosti se zahrnutím obyčejů, které se pojí s Hamanem během svátku Purim.
První kapitola spočívá v seznámení s knihou Ester jako takovou a k podrobnějšímu seznámení s Hamanem v MT. V druhé kapitole dochází ke srovnání a nastínění odlišných interpretací vyskytujících se v dalších textech - LXX, targumy, midraše. Třetí kapitola se zaměřuje na Hamana v dějinách výkladu a na to navazuje poslední část věnující se purimovým zvykům, které se pojí s Hamanem i v současnosti. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The work focuses on the negative character of Haman in the story of The Book of Esther, Haman's actions, consequences and reception in later periods.
The aim is to describe Haman on the basis of the Masoretic text, compare the differen-ces with other texts (LXX, Targum, ) and focus on the influence he had in the history of the Jewish people. It concludes with an attempt to capture the reception in the recent past and present with the inclusion of customs associated with Haman during the Purim holiday.
The first chapter consists of an introduction to The Book of Esther as such and a more detailed introduction to Haman in the MT. The second chapter compares and outlines the different interpretations found in other texts - LXX, Targums, Midrashes.
