| dc.description.abstract | Cílem příspěvku je nastínit problematiku umírání a smrti z pohledu transkulturního ošetřovatelství a zohlednit nezastupitelnou roli paliativní péče v interakci s diverzitou kultur v ošetřovatelské profesi. Jedná se o příspěvek teoretického charakteru, který byl vytvořen na základě analýzy domácích a zahraničních zdrojů. Vlastní text příspěvku je členěn do 4 logicky uspořádaných celků. První podkapitola pojednává o ošetřovatelské profesi a její náročnosti. Druhá podkapitola se zabývá filosofickými aspekty umírání a smrti. Třetí podkapitola obsahuje základní definice pojmů z paliativní péče a poslední, čtvrtá podkapitola, se zaměřuje na transkulturní ošetřovatelství. Na základě analýzy zdrojů jsme zjistili potřebnost výzkumného šetření dané problematiky. Z důvodu zvýšení prestiže profese sestry v rámci zvyšování kvality poskytované péče je zapotřebí se problematikou paliativní a transkulturní péče i nadále zabývat. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The goal of the article is to outline the issue of dying and death from the perspective of transcultural nursing, considering the irreplaceable role of palliative care in interaction with diversity of cultures in nursing profession. The article has theoretical character and was created based on analysis of national and international sources.The actual text of the article is segmented into 4 logically arranged units. The first subsection deals with nursing profession and its exacting character. The second subsection deals with philosophical aspects of dying and death. The third subsection incluedes basic definitions of palliative care concepts and the last, fourth subsection is focused on transcultural nursing. Based on the analysis of sources, we ascertained the need of research investigation of the issue in question.
